The trees teach us to let go as they gracefully release their leaves, trusting the cycles of change, growth, and rest that accompany a new season. At SPARK in Vt, we are learning to trust change, growth, and rest, even as we feel the urgency to build community.
Trusting Change
We want to pause and honor Corinne Roberts for her support and enthusiastic efforts to help launch SPARK in Vt last December. She was instrumental in our formation, facilitation of library talks, and in bringing a depth of care into this shared vision of advancing community conversations about psychedelics as medicine. With her departure from our Board of Directors, we have an opening for a licensed medical clinician passionate about advancing this grassroots effort to help shape Vermont’s psychedelic ecosystem. If you are interested in joining the SPARK in Vt Board of Directors, email us at sparkinvt.org@gmail.com.
Growth
Our next library talk is scheduled in Warren, Vermont, at the Warren Public Library on Monday, November 16th at 5:30 pm. We have received several invitations to expand the library talks into community events focused on community conversations and psychedelic education. We hear you! Keep an eye out for an upcoming event at the Zenbarn, tentatively scheduled for Thursday evening, November 19th.
Rest
As the light rapidly decreases, we are resting in the abundance of support, engagement, and deep passion that has emerged over the past five months of library talks. We have been honored to connect with over 250 Vermonters at 8 library talks and 2 community events.
A New Season
In the coming year, we plan to increase opportunities for direct engagement with SPARK in Vt members through working groups, integration groups, and community gatherings. Take a deep breath with us as we get ready to expand our reach and pull each other closer. We want to hear more from you and lift your voices in these momentous moments.
In care and psychedelics,
Mavens of SPARK in Vt—
