Social Media Deva (Volunteer)

SPARK is dedicated to igniting a grassroots effort to shape conversations and the psychedelic ecosystem in Vermont. We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Deva to enhance our online presence and engage with our community.

Role Overview

As a Social Media Deva, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing SPARK’s social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, strategizing campaigns, and fostering community interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop with SPARK Board of Directors a social media strategy to increase our online presence.
• Create, curate, and manage published content (images, videos, and written content).
• Monitor social media channels and engage with followers to build community.
• Analyze social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and improve future strategies.
• Stay updated with social media trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with the SPARK team to align social media content with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Passion for social media and community engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools.
• Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content.
• Experience in graphic design or video editing is a plus.

As a Newsletter Monarch, you will work closely with the Social Media Deva to curate and create engaging content for SPARK’s newsletters. Your role will be essential in communicating our mission, events, and updates to our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create visually appealing newsletters that align with SPARK’s mission and branding.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Developer to ensure consistency in messaging across platforms.
• Write and edit engaging content that captures the interest of our audience.
• Compile information about upcoming events, initiatives, and community highlights.
• Analyze newsletter performance metrics to improve future editions.
• Stay up-to-date with trends in email marketing and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus.
• Basic graphic design skills to create visually appealing newsletters.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Passion for community engagement and SPARK’s mission.
